Go Sara, Go!!!

I am so proud of Sara :)  Sara participated in the FPYC Father's Day Tournament with the Loudoun U10 Girls All Star soccer team this past weekend. The team made it to the finals and came in second place. 

The final game had a nail-biter finish.  The game's regulation time ended in a tie - so they went into two 5-minute overtime halves, which STILL ended in a tie.  The game went into a *shootout*, where they lost.

The team stood tough through it all and played four excellent games of soccer.  The girls should be very proud of themselves.  Here is a great picture of Sara with her trophy.  We both agree that the 2nd place trophies actually look better than the 1st place trophies.

Sara has one more tournament to play this coming weekend, and then her soccer season will be over.  We can't wait to see her play!  Good luck to Sara and her team!
